abu ambassadeur vintage 6600c.....

here for your pleasure is this very rare swedish made abu ambassadeur 6600c...

the reel comes with its original box, and is in very good condition for its age as can be seen in the pictures, the red thumb bar release has no cracks and marks as some well used examples have, and it clicks down smoothly to put the gears into free spool, these reels of course had steel bearings instead of the usual brass bushes fitted to lesser models, twin chrome tension caps adjust the end float for casting control along with the maximum of four brake blocks to be fitted to the spool.I should guess that the reel was perhaps used a few times back in 1977 and then put away, the sideplates have a couple of marks on them that could easily be "touched" in but have been left to remain in its original condition, the reel foot has some green marks on it but again i would think these could possibly be polished away.Anyway take a good look at the pictures and should you require further images please email me with regards to this.In full working order and ready to fish or show....
